Sweet Pouch Swap

I got to swap internationally with Alyce's sweet pouch swap. Stasia gave me her instagram, and I had started something that was not what I think she would have liked from her photos.  I got some Art Gallery, which she said that she liked. I made the first one (we'll get to that later) and then, I made the one picture below.  I really stepped out of my comfort zone on this one.

Here's the one I got the pattern for online here. This one is so much better and more sophisticated than the first one I did. I added the bottom piecing and banding myself to give it a little something extra. Some umph..

Although, I didn't see any flowers in any of her pics. I just went with it.

I filled her with goodies and sent her on the way. Next time, I need to send it in a box. Those candies looked tortured.
She said thank you, she loved the pouch and the candies!! I hope you do!  You never know whether someone will like what you've made for them. I do know that I didn't disappoint on the candies. Nothing to be nervous about there.

Without further ado,
this is not the one that she got. This was the epic fail!

This was all my design. I did a little improv. I wasn't happy. I love the other one. Boom, there it is. I can't wait for the arrival of my puoch. I am super duper, duper excited! I will probably squeal like a girl! :D
Blog at ya later!

  1. You are an absolute sweetheart! I would have loved all of them! The fact that it was made especially for me!!! That is what wins hands down! The caramel chocolate is finished. Only 1/4 of the Hershey's remains! The lollipops are slowly decreasing in size and the cinnamon gum.... I am savouring!!! Thank you thank you!!!
