A Liebster Nomination

Wow, I am so excited to be nominated for the Liebster Award.

From what I understand, it's for new blogger's to get to know other bloggers. It's bloggers with less than 200 followers.
*******Thank you, Kira @ La Bella Calori for nominating me.*******

You should really go check out Kira's blog. She makes amazing things and has wonderful tutorials.  We have become fast friends meeting at the ECMQG. What's funny is that I saw her beautiful piece here at the meeting.  I couldn't believe my eyes. I knew I had seen it in blogland. It's amazing to meet someone in person that you follow their work. Then, to find out that they are an amazing person. It's just a plus!

I am honored to answer these next 11 questions for the Liebster nomination. If you are a new reader, I hope you take a look around and welcome to my little blog. If you follow me already, I am so happy to have you stopping by, and I hope you keep coming back.

1. Why did you start blogging?  When I became a stay at home mom, I had some extra time. A lot of my friends wanted me to show them how to make a quilt or do something, like binding, potholders ect.  I thought I could put it on a blog and they would be able to make it whenever they wanted to, and it snowballed into something that I just really love.

2. What is something this year that you are really looking forward to? I am really looking forward to the Traditional Guild Show in Pensacola. April 11-12. I am putting a quilt in my first quilt show. *Squeal* I am so excited and nervous that I can barely contain myself. It's called galaxy.

This picture was taken before it was quilted. More to come in the future.

3. What is your favorite thing to do to unwind? I love quilting and hearing the zing of the machine.
 Reading is also a favorite.

 4. Photo's say a thousand words so share a photo that means the most to you. Why is that picture important to you? My husband Jason is the most amazing man I've ever known. I love him so much. Then, God blessed us with these two children, Kenzie and Jared.  My little family brings my heart joy and happiness that I can't even put in words. Everyday I am blessed!

 5. What quote inspires you the most?  This is my favorite one.

6. Name a quilting tool you can’t live without & why? Seam ripper, I hate to even say it out loud. I mess up so many times. If it goes missing, which it does pretty often, everything comes to a screeching halt. I call it my frienemy.

 7. Where is your favorite vacation spot? Vegas! It was where Jason and I got married and honeymooned. It was wonderful. We were never bored and the food was good. There's tons of shows.

 8. What is your favorite blog? There's really too many to say that I have an absolute favorite. I think I follow almost 300 blogs. If I follow you, you're a favorite. ;)

9. What is your favorite way to work out? I like to workout with my friends or family. Dance/Aerobics is a fav when I do workout.

10. Where do you like to shop? I like A & E. It's our local shop. Everyone there is wonderful and nice. I love to feel the fabric.

11. What's the best advice you've ever been given? My grandma told me to follow my heart. It has never led me wrong. I make enough decisions with my brain. Let the heart have a turn.

I nominate the follow five blogs:
